Photo Consent & Work Area Acknowledgement Policy

This document outlines Mr. Sparkle Window Cleaning’s standard policy for photographing

work areas before and/or after service. By accepting a quote, booking a service, or

requesting work from Mr. Sparkle Window Cleaning, you agree to the following terms.

Photo Consent Policy

To ensure clarity, transparency, and protection for both parties, we may take photographs

of the work area and surrounding environment prior to commencing work.

These photos:

- Will be used solely for internal documentation, training, and quality control - May assist in

resolving any disputes about property condition

- Will not include identifying images of people without additional consent

- Will not be shared publicly without prior written permission

Work Area Acknowledgement

Customers are encouraged to inspect the work area before service begins. By accepting a

service quote, the customer acknowledges that Mr. Sparkle Window Cleaning is not

responsible for any pre-existing property damage. Any known or visible damage should be

reported to us before work begins.

Agreement

By accepting a quote, booking a service, or requesting work from Mr. Sparkle Window

Cleaning, the customer confirms their acceptance of the above policies.

Scraper Use Policy

Scraper Tool Use on Glass

At times, Mr. Sparkle Window Cleaning may need to use a scraper tool

(razor blade) to remove materials such as paint, stickers, or debris from

glass surfaces. While our technicians are trained in proper scraper use,

there is a minor risk of scratching, especially if dirt or grit is present on the

glass, or if the surface is in poor condition.

The use of a scraper may be necessary for effective cleaning, especially on

neglected or contaminated glass surfaces.

Risk Acknowledgement

By accepting a quote or booking a service with Mr. Sparkle Window

Cleaning, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

- A scraper tool may be used if necessary

- All care will be taken to avoid damage

- Mr. Sparkle Window Cleaning is not liable for scratches or damage

resulting from standard scraper use, especially when pre-existing dirt,

damage, or poor surface condition is present

Agreement

By accepting our quote or scheduling a service, the customer agrees to this

Scraper Use Policy & Risk Acknowledgement as part of our service terms.

Please tell us during the booking in process if you would like us not to use

the scraper.

By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

Access & Window Cleaning

  • The quoted price remains unchanged where flyscreens are secured by shutters or other fixtures and cannot be safely removed.

  • Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to all areas included in the service. Windows that cannot be safely accessed may be excluded from cleaning.

  • Standard window cleaning removes dirt and general build-up only. We cannot guarantee the removal of oxidation, scratches, etching, or other pre-existing defects.

 

Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers are responsible for removing or securing any fragile, valuable, or obstructive items before our arrival.

  • We are not responsible for damage to items that have not been adequately removed or secured.

Weather Conditions

  • Services may be postponed or rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions, including heavy rain, strong winds, storms, or extreme temperatures.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due in accordance with the terms stated on the invoice.

  • Overdue accounts may be referred to a debt collection agency.

Cancellations

  • We request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Claims & Liability

  • Any claim relating to loss, damage, or service quality must be reported within 48 hours of completion.

  • We reserve the right to inspect and rectify any concerns before any refund or compensation is considered.

  • We may request reasonable evidence that any claimed damage did not exist prior to our arrival.

  • Our liability is limited to damage directly caused by our negligence during the performance of our services.

Pre-Existing Conditions

  • Cleaning may reveal pre-existing defects previously concealed by dirt or debris, including scratches, failed seals, glass imperfections, frame deterioration, screen damage, staining, or oxidation.

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or defects discovered before, during, or after the cleaning service.

Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours so we can inspect the work and resolve any issues.

  • Any claim regarding service quality will be assessed based on the agreed scope of work and reasonable expectations of the services provided. We cannot be held responsible for outcomes beyond the scope of the service booked.
